So, it seems I have been much worse at keeping up with the blog than intended. Time just flies by and I can’t believe it’s 2016. The school year is basically over, and I’ve been here in Korea 10 months.
To answer the ‘are you coming home’ question…I’m hoping to be able to stay at my current school another year. Still not sure if that will happen or not. If it’s not possible then I will look for another teaching job elsewhere. I want to stay.
So, I’ll do my best to catch you up….if your on fb then you’ve probably seen much of this.
Gongju, where I live, is home to the annual Baekje Festival. Back in the Baekje era, Gongju was the capital. The festival celebrates cultural history. Here are a few pictures.
I bought a new book. Learning how to read Korean. lol. And went to a Halloween party. Face paint makes for a decent last minute costume.
The first snow fell on American Thanksgiving Day.
Thanksgiving dinner in my apartment.
School Talent Show/Festival and 6th grade Kimchi making.
Christmas Decorations & Christmas celebrations.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I stayed home on NYE, but on Jan 1st I went to Seoul. Had a great day with good people.
Here’s to a fabulous 2016!
